Fundraising Update

Team Shell is approximately $24,000 behind its fundraising target.  The required minimum fundraising of $400 is due May 19, 2009.  Got checks or cash for donations?  Please download a Pledge Form at: http://www.nationalmssociety.org/chapters/bp-ms-150/about-the-ride/rider -resources/index.aspx.

The completed Pledge Form may be turned in in-person at the NMSS offices or sent in by mail (see the form for instructions).  Also, prizes for top fundraisers can be viewed here: http://www.nationalmssociety.org/chapters/bp-ms-150/fundraising/prizes/index.aspx.

All prizes must be ordered online starting Monday, April 27, at: http://www.msprizes.com

Dallas MS150 - Help Needed

Stephen Dunkelberger's family and friends are riding in the Dallas MS 150 this weekend. They will not get to Dallas till late Friday night and
are concerned they might not pick up their packets in time. They have already signed up.  If you are participating in the Dallas Ride, will be

Bike for Mike - Saturday, May 2

IT"S TIME TO GIVE BACK TO ONE OF OUR BEST SUPPORTING COMMUNITIES!  Join us at the Michael T. McCann Memorial Bike Ride in Fulshear. The ride will feature a 23, 45, and 70-mile routes, as well as a Pedal Pusher 3-mile ride for families to enjoy. All proceeds will directly benefit the beautification of Fulshear.  Dr. Mike McCann passed away after a long, heroic battle with cancer in 2007. He will be remembered as a family man, veterinarian, sailor, grape grower, friend and mentor, who also served as chairman of the Fulshear Planning Commission for many years, dedicating much of his time to the development and growth of the city. An avid bicyclist, he spent many hours each week cycling all while undergoing treatments, a true testament to his strength and abilities. Details and online registration at:

Columbus Rolling Hills Challenge - Saturday, May 9

What many have claimed to be the best kept secret in Texas cycling, the Rolling Hills Challenge 2009 offers cyclists some of the most
picturesque, yet challenging bike routes in South Central Texas.  Ride distances are 25, 50, 62 or 100 miles so there is something for
