Congratulations on an
outstanding fundraising year! With $330,840.45 raised so far, we have
exceeded our goal by approximately 10%, thanks in large to you.
However, we cannot let our guard down, Team Anadarko is right at our heels
trying to snatch 6th position from under our feet. They are a
mere $2,000 behind. If you have not turned in your money or plan on
giving more but have not gotten to it, please do it as soon as possible.
The final team standings will be locked in in the next few days. Let's
continue to wok together to safeguard the position we've held all season
long - I'd hate to see you lose it in the final stretch.
Tour de Pink - Sunday Sep 13
The annual Tour de Pink is a
very special event benefiting the Pink Ribbons Project to fight breast
cancer through awareness and education programs and the support of proper
screening for the medically underserved funding and outreach initiatives.
Join Shell teammates and thousands of other riders this year as we
celebrate the 5th anniversary of the Tour de Pink, scheduled for Sunday,
September 13th, at Prairie View A&M University outside of Houston, Texas.
Routes are available for all levels: 12, 23, 47, 63, 80 and 100 miles!

There are several
well-supported rides coming up in the next few months which draw hundreds
of our local riders. The list will be posted on the team website (www.shellcyclingteam.com)
and will be kept evergreen as additional rides/details become available.
